Ahmedabad Airport

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA) is an international airport serving the cities of Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad in Gujarat, along with other ancillary town and cities within the proximities of these districts. SVPIA needs to go under major development and modification work to achieve the perceived figure of Aircraft and Cargo handling during its life span. ZNera has proposed a new GA Terminal as part of SVPIA Master Plan, which shall be built in Phase 1 of Master Plan development. The proposed new GA Terminal is located on north-western part of the airport, for faster entry/exit of users to/from this facility to the city. This is in view of land scarcity at SVPIA, and the need for associated apron for both, the VIP and CIP terminals. The facilities within the terminal for VIP and CIP guests shall be separate, while the apron access, landside and airside entrance/exit shall be shared. It is planned with security check-in, dedicated immigration and customs area, lounge, F&B, conference rooms, meeting rooms etc.
